The synergies between the surgeons and the people in the Helioscopie Research and Development department made it possible to modify this implant so that today it has evolved into the Heliogast HAGA EV3 gastric band.
This band is the only one of its kind to have an adjustable “double balloon”membrane designed to increase the stability of the band and limit the risk of slippage.
It comes with the EV3 adjustment system, the only implantable port in the world that has 360° accessibility and that therefore precludes all complications related to the rotation of traditional adjustment ports.
To date, Helioscopie has marketed more than 60,000 Heliogast® gastric bands in the world.
